About

Hi! That’s me. My name is Melissa. I’m a 32 year-old SAHM (stay at home mom). And that’s my family: my husband Matt and 11 month old son Joseph. I’m originally from Jacksonville, FL where I studied music (clarinet) at the University of North Florida. My husband is in the Army, and we’re currently living in Fayetteville, NC. Thanks to my stinking cute son, I don’t have a ton of spare time, but when I do find some me time, I enjoy reading, anime/manga, video games and of course, cooking.

I'm always on the look out for new and interesting things to cook, so when I found the Food section on Pinterest, I was in recipe heaven. There are some great recipes on Pinterest, but unfortunately there are more than a few duds. Weeding through the bad recipes can be difficult. Something like Creamy Avacado Pasta may sound delicious, but when you make it there's a good chance it'll taste like warm bitter guacamole dumped over fettuccine. (True story, by the way.)

Sure one pinner may have said, 'This may be the best thing I've ever tasted! It was so good, I couldn't stuff it down my gullet fast enough, so I liquefied it and ran it through an IV tube straight into my vein!" But I'm willing to bet that Ranch Peanut Butter Corn Flake Crusted Tilapia was not as good as "one pinner" lead me to believe.

So here I am! Testing recipes I've found and sharing my results. Hope you enjoy reading as much as I've enjoyed cooking!

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest & Facebook.
